Foundations for Women
Christiane-Nüsslein-Vollhard Foundation
This academic foundation provides grants to gifted young female researchers with children in the experimental natural sciences or medicine in order to give them the necessary freedom and mobility to pursue an academic career. The applicant’s basic living expenses should already be covered by a salary or scholarship, and her child or children should already be enrolled at a daycare center. The grant provides 200 to 400 € per month for a period of one year and is intended to help the recipient reduce the amount of time spent on household tasks or afford additional childcare, thus providing more time for research. Further information is available here.
