Geschwister Boehringer Ingelheim – Stiftung für Geisteswissenschaften
This foundation awards publication grants for scholarly publications in the humanities which have some connection to the German-speaking world in the broadest sense – whether this means that the author or editor lives there, that the publication deals with German history, culture, or language, or that the book is being published by a German, Austrian, or Swiss publishing house. The foundation only provides publication grants for dissertations which received a grade of summa cum laude or magna cum laude. It only funds the publication of conference proceedings or collections of essays if they have a coherent thematic focus and present new findings. Further information in German is available here.
