Advising for Doctoral Candidates

Normally we can arrange an advising appointment within a few days. If there is a Graduate School in your area of specialization, the coordinator of the school might be able to provide you with initial information.

Postdoctoral researchers please refer to the advisory team of the Science Support Centre:

www.ssc.uni-freiburg.de/abteilungen/projektberatung/Team

The IGA offers doctoral candidates support in all questions and   issues concerning doctoral studies. If you have questions about the formalities involved in earning a PhD at the University of Freiburg, need help finding an advisor, or are trying to decide whether or not to pursue a doctoral degree, feel free to make an appointment for an individual advising session.

To request an appointment, please send an email to the advisor responsible for your faculty and let us know in advance what you wish to discuss so that we can prepare for your advising session.
